Memorial Alternatives is a fully licensed funeral home and prearrangement center. Our staff includes a full time funeral director and we are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our funeral services typically cost 40% to 60% of a traditional funeral home.

When we opened for business in Grand Rapids, Michigan we redefined funeral service in the area, offering low cost services to families. Some of the ways we differ are:

• Our costs are far less than a traditional funeral home.
• We have a nice facility but it is not filled with antiques and fancy furniture.
• We have a van instead of a fleet of Cadillacs.
• We do not charge you $100 to $200 to deliver funeral flowers after the service, you take them with you.
• We do not offer the funeral procession. We meet you at the church or cemetery, or sevices can be complete at our chapel.
• We do not have weekend funerals. We are available to care for the deceased at all times but schedule the funeral on a weekday.
• All costs are known and taken care of at the time of the funeral. You won´t be surprised by a large bill a month later.
