Anthony Joseph Wilson (TJ or Tony) died peacefully in Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital of Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 14, 2017 at the age of 69. Anthony is survived by his mother, Catherine Wilson, sister Sandra Wilson (Vikki), and brother Mike Wilson (wife Geri). His nieces, Lauren Wise (husband Justin) and Alyssa Wilson, nephew Kevin Wilson and his great nephews (Thomas and Daniel) and great niece (Audrey) also mourn his passing. He is preceded in death by his father Edwin (Tim) Wilson. Anthony was born on November 4, 1947 in Grand Rapids, graduated from Creston High School in 1965 and Western Michigan University in 1969. He taught industrial arts and was a tech support specialist in schools. He also worked independently as a professional photographer, custom woodworker, and small engine repair person. TJ was a great friend to everyone who knew him. He was truly someone who followed God’s golden rule, “Love your neighbor.” There will be no service but visitation will take place at Memorial Alternatives at 2432 Fuller Ave. NE, Grand Rapids from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, October 20, 2017. Family and friends are invited to attend.
