Barbara Jean Dickman (Fuller), age 92, passed away on Friday, September 8, at St. Ann’s home in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She was born November 2, 1924 in Jackson, MI. and was raised in Grand Haven and Grand Rapids, graduating from Creston High School in 1942. Barb was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Bernice Fuller, brother Dale (Constance) Fuller, sister Mary (Ron) Yakes, husband of 25 years James Rewa and husband of 4 years John Dickman.  She is survived by her sister Phyllis (Hazen) Carr of Cabool, Missouri. Also surviving are her children James (Susan) Rewa Jr and Sandra (Tom) Stanton.  Grandchildren: Tom (Katie) and Tim (Laura) Stanton.  Great-grandchildren: Tommy, Benny, Abby, Gabe, and Lucy Stanton.  She retired from the Kent County Sheriff’s department in 1989 as secretary to the undersheriff. Barb enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo. She never wanted to miss any social functions with family and friends. The Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, September 13th at 10:30, St Ann’s Home, 2161 Leonard St NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The family would like to thank the staffs of St. Ann’s and Emmanuel Hospice for their gentle and loving care of Barb during the last year of her life.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Emmanuel Hospice.
