Blanche E. (Pat)  Wayman Kosakoski turned 101 on Friday September 15, and went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday September 20, 2017 at her home.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Eldoris Wayman and Frank Kosakoski; her daughter Lindy Ward and husband, James Ward; her parents Charles & Charlotte Tatro;  her siblings Ruth Blentlinger,  Lloyd and Charles Tatro.  She is survived by her children, Elnora Wayman Gale (Rod), James & Bonnie Wayman, Elsie Wayman Vis (Larry) and Daniel & Sandy Wayman.  Fifteen grandchildren,  twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.  Her stepchildren Frank (Jan) Kosak, William (Connie) Kosakoski, Mary Creswell, Edward (Barbara) Kosak and Marge Kosakoski. Fourteen grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Blanche was widowed at age 34 with 5 children to provide for.  She faithfully brought her children to church, concerned for their belief and trust in the Savior she loved.  Her strong faith carried her through many challenges.  She worked at Lear Siegler in Grand Rapids for nearly 25 years.  Blanche loved laughing and making others laugh.  She had a servant’s heart that cared for anyone God brought into her life, sharing whatever she had.  Those who helped care for her spoke of loving her smile and quick wit. We are grateful for all the care and loving compassion of those from Hospice of Michigan and Diversified Medical Services. A service to celebrate Blanche’s life will be held on Saturday morning, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Blythefield Hills Baptist Church, Northview Campus, 4162 Hunsberger, NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan, with Pastor Ben Phebus officiating.  Memorial contributions In Blanche’s memory may be made to Hospice of Michigan or Blythefield Hills Baptist Church.
