Bruce Alan Pott, age 70, of Grand Rapids, has passed from this earth after more than 15 years of enduring pain and joined the heavenly hosts on August 19, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Henrietta Potts.  He is survived by his partner of over 30 years Patricia Pott; his siblings Joanne Bruxvoort, Jackie and Gregg Preston, Dan and Joan Potts, Dave Potts, Mark and Aleta Potts, and Mary and Bob Huber; his children Bruce and Cherie LaLonde, Wendy and Ross Price, Diane and Jason Reeder, Joshua and Betsy Pott, Erin and Andrew Holly, and Kristin Lindblom; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Bruce’s early life was fearless and he lived it to the fullest.  His passions were football and photography, but his greatest joy came from his grandchildren.  He was an entrepreneur in sales and marketing. Bruce loved living life large so it’s no surprise that he passed on the weekend of a full solar eclipse.

The family will greet friends and relatives at Unity Center for Spiritual Growth, 6025 Ada Dr SE, on Saturday 10am followed by a Memorial Service at 11am.
