David Lee Minnema

David Lee Minnema, aged 71, passed away on March 27, 2018 after a short illness.

Dave was born and raised in Grand Rapids and a graduate of South High School. He worked for 44 years at Knape & Vogt Manufacturing in a variety of roles.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Clara Minnema and brother Robert Minnema. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pat, his children, Sonya Minnema and Scott Minnema, his grandchildren, Aaron Wisner, Timothy and Allyson Minnema, his brother Ronald (Barb) Minnema, and many nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by his many friends from bowling, golf, hunting and his daily breakfast at Big Boy. Dave served his country with the United States Army and will be greatly missed by his family from the 459th Signal Battalion.

Services will be held on April 21, 2018 at New Community Church 2340 Dean Lake Rd, Grand Rapids MI at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service.
