Diann M. Evans aged 75 of Grand Rapids went to her heavenly home on her birthday Wednesday, August 9th, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Gary, son Victor Todd (Erin) Evans, daughter Elizabeth Aileen Higgins, five grandchildren Patrick, Daniel, Kaylie, Victor Graham, Teague Michael, three brothers Robert (Mary) LaHousse, Wil (Beth) LaHousse, Jim LaHousse, two sisters Linda (Robert) Boroff, Susan LaHousse, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a long time cashier at Meijer Store 22 on Westnedge Ave in Kalamazoo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church 224 Carrier St. NE Grand Rapdis, MI 49505.  Visitation one hour before Mass in the church.  The family requests that no flowers be donated.  Memorial donations can be made to the St. Alphonsus Art and Environment Fund or the St. Alphonsus Music fund, if desired.
