So sorry to hear of Irene's passing. You may not know, but Lorene Street in Wayland was named for Irene and I. Lor (for Lorraine) ene (for Irene). Gene was in business with my husband June Sager who has also passed on. The developed and built most of the houses on that street.
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, and you are you,
Whatever we were to each other, that we
are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which
you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little
jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household
word that it always was. Let it be spoken
without an effort, without the ghost of a
shadow upon it.
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the
same as it ever was. There is absolute
and unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind because
I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you,
for an interval, somewhere very near, just
round the corner.
All is well.

Dear Rick, Mary, and family...
We had so hoped to see you in person today to express our sincere sympathy in the loss of 'Mom.' Health issues prevent that from happening; however, please know that we are thinking of you and praying over you and your family as you travel this path of loss. We both know that no matter the age it is hard to lose a mother. Our sincere message to each of you is that there are many wonderful memories that will fill the void of her presence. Again, we are praying over you and care deeply for you in her passing. God's richest blessings and comfort to each of you.

Irene was such a patriarch in the Pawloski family. I had such admiration and respect for her and Gene they were such a close couple. She always put a smile on my face and always went out of her way to talk to me at gatherings. She will be missed, RIP Irene

"Auntie Irene" was always smiling and happy from childhood until the last time I saw her at Aunt Dorthy's funeral. Many memories of her, so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family. God bless, Tom and Cindy Walters
