Dear Dan, Kathy, Mary and the Klooster Family,
Christopher and I were very sorry to hear about Leona's passing a month ago. My children and I remember (very fondly) visiting her at the summer cottage and her apartment and the wonderful times we had meeting and visiting with you all. Fred and Leona were also at our wedding standing in for Dan! I appreciated her hospitality, kindness, love of music and love and enjoyment of family that were so apparent. We are missing her from afar.
Love and prayers,
Yuki Harding

Dear Dan and Klooster Family,
I was not able to pay Leona my respects at the service, but I am thinking of you. Leona must be happy with Fred in heaven. I enjoyed visiting her once at her apartment several years ago.
With deepest sympathy,
Yoko Kanayama

Dear Klooster family,
Our sincere condolences on Leona's passing.
I will miss those visits with Leona. She kept her sense of humor to the end, though she did indicate that she was eager for heaven!. She was always a role model for me as she graciously and lovingly raised her four kids and then five! Blessed are the saints who die in the Lord.
Sorry we're out of town and will miss the memorial service; we hope there will be a recording.
Ruth (and Henry) Baron.

Our family had only known this amazing lady for a few months. She made my mother , Marjorie Boot, so happy. I heard Lee stories all the time and we always needed to bring her treats from South Haven. She shared her newspaper, her warm spirit, and her love and concern for my mom. We will miss her so much! Sending prayers for your family and our hope that God's grace will embrace all of you now and in the days to come. Sincerely, Sheri Ippel

Dear whole Klooster family,
My condolences to all of the Klooster family on the passing over of your Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother and Great- Grandmother. Leona was one of the kindest, loving, and inspirational woman that I have ever met. I know she has made a profound impact in all of your lives and even though she is enjoying being in glory with her loved ones who have gone to glory before her, I know you will miss her deeply. Please know that you are loved and thought of as you grieve her passing as well as celebrate her life. Love, Kim Phillips

It was an honor to get to know Leona. I didn't know her well, but I know that my son-in-law Jono and my daughter Emily thought the world of her. So much so that they named their daughter after her - Mae Leona. We can only hope that Mae grows up to be as accepting and curious and inspiring as her Oma was. Peace and love to all members of the great Klooster family 🙏🏻💚.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the wonderful extended Klooster family. Mom Klooster had the biggest heart and I will be forever thankful that she opened it to me every single time I had the pleasure of her company. Even though I know she was ready to move on and join her loved ones, we will all miss her on this earth.
Love, Karen DeBruyn

My condolences to the Klooster family, the bible describes a God of comfort, "who comforts us in our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." ( 2 Corinthians 1:3,4) May God comfort you during this difficult time.
