Richard G. Johnson aged 67 of Grand Rapids passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Priscilla Johnson and is survived by two brothers Thom Johnson, Keith (Nancy) Johnson, one niece Susan (Greg) Straw, two nephews Zac (Penny) Johnson, Steve Johnson, his best friend Mary Truszkowksi. A 1968 graduate of Creston High School, he loved music and was a lifelong member of North Park Presbyterian Church where he was instrumental in the bell and vocal choirs. He enjoyed photography, wood working and spending summers at the family cottage in Baldwin. Memorial contributions are suggested to North Park Presbyterian Church. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 21st, at 11:00 am at North Park Presbyterian Church 500 North Park St. NE Grand Rapids, MI.
