Robert L King, Jr, age 63 of Grand Rapids, MI died November 13, 2017 at home surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth (Walters) King and their daughter, Katherine King. Bob had a long career at both Meijer and Amway. Although he was last working as a global trades customs manager, his most meaningful role throughout his career was as a mentor. His care and love for his wife and daughter is his enduring legacy. Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, November 15 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at The Community Church, 7239 Thornapple River DR SE., Ada, MI. The funeral will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00am at the Community Church in Ada. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in Bob’s name to Critter Cottage of Ada or Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp of Twin Lake, MI.
