Roger F. Garrett aged 81 of Grandville went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 3, 2017. He is preceded in death by his sister Peg Garrett, brother Walter Garrett and is survived by his wife of 57 years Lana, daughter Michelle (Todd) Van Dyke, son David Garrett, three grandchildren, brother William (Patricia) Garrett, sister Lois McDonald, several nieces, nephews, and close friend Jack Monje. He spent three years active duty Army in Germany and five years inactive reserve. He retired from General Motors Inland Division Alpine Avenue after 33 years of service. Roger raised quarter horses, pork and beef for over 20 years at Marble Road Farm Lowell, MI. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Alzheimer’s Association.
