Shirley I. (Stafford) Hamilton, born January 21, 1932 went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ on October 18, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Emma Stafford, husband Robert Hamilton, Brother Alden “Dick” Stafford and sister Betty Sorenson.  She is survived by her sister Thelma Thompson, sister-in-law Imogene Stafford, brother-in-law Jack Sorenson and many nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held at the Clark Retirement Community Chapel, 1551 Franklin St SE, Grand Rapids, MI. 49506, on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clark Foundation Benevolent Care Fund.
