Beverly Cleland (DeYoung) passed away Tuesday August 21, 2017, after multiple battles with Breast cancer and finally from Metastatic Brain Cancer. She worked for many years at Michigan Bulb Co., Candy Blossoms and finally as a Unit Aide at Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a lover and supporter of the Northview Marching Band of which her two oldest grandchildren were members.
She is predeceased by her parents Ted and Gladys DeYoung, her sister Barbara and brother Thomas. She is survived by her devoted husband Michael, her loving daughters Jennifer (Jon) Crider, Kristi (Tim) Kodos. Her wonderful grandchildren Oliver (Bo) and Kennedy VanDyke also Averie and Brady Kodos. Also her brother Ted (Mary) DeYoung her nieces Tiffany DeYoung and Brittanie (Matthew) Wright and her nephews Ted Jr. (Ashley) DeYoung and Beau DeYoung.
As per her wishes there will be no funeral services at this time but a Celebration of Life party will be held in May of 2019. The family requests in Lieu of flowers people donate to Spectrum Health Hospice or to breast cancer research.
