October 25, 1952-December 28, 2018
David passed away at the age of 66 after losing his long battle with COPD. 
He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Terpstra, mother, Viola Terpstra (Hildenbrand), and brother, Charles Terpstra. He is survived by his niece, Cassandra Terpstra, as well as many cousins. 
David recently reconnected with his biological family and is preceded in death by his siblings, Pamela Gray (Peek), and Paul Parker. He is survived by his mother, Betty Parker, and his siblings, Patrick Block, Sharon Budd (Peek), Tippy Peek, Debra Miller (Peek), and Kenneth Peek, along with many nieces and nephews.  
David retired from Disney World after many years of sharing his skills as a talented chef.  His love for life included cooking, taking cruises, competitive dance roller skating and painting with acrylics.  David touched many lives and will be dearly missed not only by his families, but by his many friends he made during his time in Florida.

A memorial service will be held January 21, 2019 at Faith Hospice Trillium Woods, 8214 Pfeiffer Farms Dr SW, Byron Center, Mi 49315.  Visitation 12pm-1pm with service to follow.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Faith Hospice or The American Lung Association.
