Dorathy Ermine Brackett DeRoos (October 18, 1935 – April 7, 2019)

Dorathy DeRoos went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 7, 2019.

Dorathy was one of two children born to Ralph and Angeline Brackett. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on October 18, 1935. She married Adrian DeRoos on July 19, 1953. Their marriage lasted 63 years until Adrian’s death in 2017. Dorathy and Adrian had five children (four by blood and one by love): Mary (John) Torrey, Daniel (Rayda) DeRoos, Sarah Morton, Rachel (Timothy) Brower, and Robin DeRoos.

Dorathy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Angeline Brackett; her husband, Adrian; and her daughter, Sarah. Dorathy is survived by her children: Mary (John) Torrey, Daniel (Rayda) DeRoos, Rachel (Timothy) Brower, and Robin DeRoos. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren: Sarina, Serina, Elisa, Melisa, Adam, Holly, Luis, Brianna, JoNathan, Angela, Rebekah, and 17 great-grandchildren.
