Edward Roger Rypma

Edward Rypma, aged 88 passed away Friday, June 21, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lena Rypma and brother James Rypma.

He will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 21 years, Elizabeth, Rypma; children Judith (Edwin Randal) Rypma, Carol (Kent) Spoolstra, Cathy (Pete) Clellend, Dan (Christine) Rypma, Barbara (Edwin) Leritz, Lenore (Mike) Hoekstra, John Plonski; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends also; (special friends Russ and Paul); brothers Arthur Rypma and William Rypma.

Edward served 2 years in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked 34 years for Associated Material and Supply.

There will be a graveside service Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Courtland Cemetery in Rockford with a Celebration of Life being held at 12:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 91 S 1st St, Cedar Springs, MI 49319.
