Gayle Sutter Obituary

Gayle Kathleen Sutter (Gates), aged 84 of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

Gayle was born in Grand Rapids. She graduated from Butterworth Hospital School of Nursing in 1956.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Kenneth and Ruth Gates and her brother, John Gates. Married to Ronald Sutter for 62 years. Two daughters, Karen McGuire (Chris Nawrocki) and Sharon (Tom) Schaap. Seven grandchildren, Elizabeth McGuire, Erin (Andy) Woltjers, Katie (Wade) Roberts, Mallorie McGuire, Brandon Schaap, Ashely (Philip) Bell and Parker Schaap. Two great granddaughters, Eleanor Woltjers, and Lily Bell.

Memorial Services will be Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Congregational Church, 2725 Four Mile Rd. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49544
