Helen Lucille (Callaghan) Foley

Helen Foley, aged 98, passed away on February 2, 2018. She was born to F. Louis Callaghan and Margaret (Anderson) Callaghan in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Gerard, infant sons, Robert and Joseph, sister, M. Louise Hussey, brother-in-law, Herbert, and sister, Virginia (Ginger) Callaghan.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Kathleen) Foley, Patrick (Joy) Foley, Margaret (Don) Burgess, and Frances Foley, several grandchildren, nephew, William (Mary Lou) Hussey, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and her many friends, including those at Holland Home Fulton Manor.

Helen brought joy to many, lived life with a positive attitude and was a faithful servant of our Lord.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 17th, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, 224 Carrier St. NE Grand Rapids, MI. Visitation with the family will be held one half hour prior to the church service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Alphonsus Food and Clothing Store, Catherine’s Health Center or Holland Home Benevolent Fund. Refreshments following at Holland Home Fulton Manor 1450 Fulton Street East from 2 to 3 p.m.
