James Edward Johnson

Mr. James E. Johnson, aged 62 of Grand Rapids, Michigan received his wings Friday, June 21st, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline; brother, Willie A. Johnson.

James is survived by daughter Kameisha Johnson; grandchildren Tre’iana Wilton, Ka’mya Hunter; 5 sisters, Artie (Frank) McCoy, Joanne Johnson, Glory (Rosevelt) Boyd, Dorothy Longuemire, Darlene Trader; brother, Randy Keels; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and 2 special friends, Michele and Charlie.

James was a long time welder in Grand Rapids, most recently for MAACO

There will be a Celebration of Life Friday, June 28, 2019  from 1 - 3 PM at Riverside Park Island Shelter, 2001 Monroe Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. The Shelter is north of the Guild Street Entrance.
