Jane L. (Wiersum) McConnell

Jane L. McConnell (Wiersum) aged 90, of Wyoming, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 19, 2018 after a short battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Charles McConnell, and her daughter Denise L. Van Dyke.

Surviving are her children, Douglas (Denise) McConnell, Deborah L. (Donald) Verwoerd; her grandchildren, Amy, Donald Jr., Ryan, Cathy, Scott, Crystal, Gordy, Greg; 18 great-grandchildren; and one cousin, Cora Mae Collins.

Jane was a resident of Medilodge of Wyoming where she received wonderful care from the staff.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will greet friends and remember Jane on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Memorial Alternatives Chapel, 2432 Fuller Avenue NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
