Jennifer "Jennie" Lee (Huscher) Back

Jennifer “Jennie” Lee (Huscher) Back, of Grand Rapids, MI passed away with family by her side on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Louise Huscher, her sister Nancy (Huscher) Wilson, and son Christopher Back.  The loving mother to Kimberly (Eric) Hass, Julie (Timothy) Dlugos, adoring sister, Carole (Huscher) Doty; proud Grandmother of Rena, Mallory and Lily.  Dear Aunt to Sheree (Tom) Lane, Tami Wilson, Mark (Becky) Wilson, Lisa (Bill) Sias, Greg Stepke, Alicia (Joel) VanderWall and Amy (Mark) Burton. Beloved by great nieces/nephews, other extended family, and friends.

Jennie was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Grand Rapids, MI.  After marrying, she lived in various places such as the North Shore, HI and Saint Paul, MN until coming back home to raise her daughters in Grand Rapids. 

She most enjoyed time with family and friends as well as reading.  Her sweet and generous spirit will be missed greatly.

Special thanks to the kind staff at Platinum Living where she spent her final year as well as the amazing and caring staff at Spectrum Hospital. 

There will be a visitation to remember Jennie Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 4-7 pm at Memorial Alternatives, 2432 Fuller Avenue NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505
