Jerome "Corky" Kooienga

Jerome “Corky” Kooienga, aged 91 of Grand Rapids went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 3, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Jean in 2015; son Russell; parents, Jake and Gertrude; siblings, Lavern, Marcia, Norman, Aberdeen, and Lenora. He is survived by daughters, Barbara Bronson, Carole (Steve) Horling; son David (Diane) Kooienga; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Karen (Ward) Nykamp and Gloria Beek.

Jerome retired from Perfected Grave Vault after many years of service.

He was a long time member of Trinity Baptist Church, 2050 Aberdeen St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505, where Funeral Services will be held, Monday, July 8, 2019 at 11:00 am. Family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service.
