Maxwell – Joan M. Maxwell aged 85 of Grand Rapids passed away on Friday November 24th, 2017. Joan was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Johnson, sister-in-law Pauline Johnson, and sister-in-law Elaine Johnson. She is survived by three daughters; Debbie (Gary) Slabbekoorn, Donna (Leo) Raap, Carrie Maxwell, and daughter-in-law Linda Wood; two sons; David (Sarah) Wood, Douglas (Trish) Wood, thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, sister Jeannie (Gene) Cederquist, brothers Martin Johnson and Jerry (Wilma) Johnson and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joan worked for over thirty years as an LPN at Butterworth Hospital.
