Kevin James Debri

Kevin J. Debri, aged 62, passed away, Sunday, April 14, 2019 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Roberta Debri; his brother and sister-in-law Brian and Sue Debri, and his partner Rory Morton.

Kevin is survived by his brother Tim and Ann Debri; sister Julie and Paul Lang; as well as nieces Rebecca (Garrett) Prill, Heather Tucker, Amanda (Jason) Walsh, Katie (Gordon) Groover; nephews Teddy (Becky) Lang, Marty Lang, John (Joanna) Debri, Michael Lang; several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend John Mulder.

Kevin graduated from Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School, attended both Aquinas and Davenport Colleges, and enjoyed a long career in the retail business in Chicago. Retiring back to Grand Rapids, Kevin volunteered at many local organizations, often taking the lead position.

Kevin will be remembered for his hearty laugh, warm hugs, kind and gentle nature and his love of family, friends and Christmas.

There will be a Memorial Open House for Kevin on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 1-4 PM at the Grand Rapids Firefighter's Hall, located at 1930 Fuller NE Grand Rapids, MI 49505
