Linda Colarelli Obituary

Linda Colarelli, aged 78, went into the Lord’s loving arms on September 20, 2018 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.  She was preceded in death by her parents Paul (Everett) and Marjorie Shue; siblings Louise Edwards, William (Bill) Shue, and Paul Shue; infant son Joseph John Colarelli.Linda was born on February 11, 1940 in Casnovia, MI.  She graduated from Sparta High School, joined the Air Force, and eventually became a life-long Meijer employee at the Walker Corporate Offices.  After retirement, she moved to Howard City, MI to pursue her passion for cooking, baking, gardening, and bird feeding/watching.  A devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Linda was a beautiful flower with a generous, loving heart.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Patti (Nick) Chernoby and Paul Colarelli; granddaughters Gina (Arcadiy), Anna (Josh), and Amanda (Darrin) Chernoby; great-granddaughter Abigail Chernoby; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet visitors at Memorial Alternatives, 2432 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Michigan.
