Marilyn Walker Obituary

Marilyn Ann Walker, 71, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 4 2019. She was born February 23, 1948 to the late Wilfred Ernest and Lucille Pearl Coykendall  Lemieux. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Ernest Lemieux and Donald Lemieux; one sister, Phyllis Lemieux Miedema.

She now watches over,  her best friend and soul mate of over 30 years David L Shannon, her son Jay (Linda) Williams, her daughter Ja’Net (Jason) Deboer and stepson Bruce (Lillian) Anderson.  She also leaves behind six granddaughters, several nieces and nephews, a special friend for life Judy and her fur baby Nikki.

The family would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts, the team at Faith Hospice. Without the help of Rachel, our fantastic nurse, Sonya, our wonderful assistant, Deanna, our hard working social worker and Dr. Rouse, we are not sure if she could have had all of her wishes met.  The support we had from the Faith Hospice team was unbelievable. We could not have done this without all of them by our side.

Marilyn loved hard and everyone around her. She was passionate about things she was involved with. She would even ruffle a few feathers if she had to. And there were times she had to. She enjoyed having fun with family and friends. Even in her final days. One of her passions was puzzles. Not the small ones. She liked the 1000+ piece puzzles. Cannot forget Sudoku. She would do those every day. She was generous with her time. She was always there with a cup of mocha if you needed a friend to talk to.  She touched so many people throughout her life. She loved her neighborhood and the neighbors she had very much. She is terribly missed by everyone.
