December 11, 1930 - Maryann L. Cwayna joined her heavenly family on September 6, 2017. Maryann’s career served as the primary focus of her life, working at Foremost Life Insurance Company from its early days in Grand Rapids until her career concluded at the position of Claims Information Manager. She is preceded in death by her father John Kowalski, mother Anna Kowalski, brothers Walter Coville, Stanley Kowalski, and Joseph Kowalski. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, John and Sue Kowalski & family, her son and daughter in-law, Greg and Barb Cwayna, and granddaughters Lori Smith and her husband Aaron Smith with their son Shepard Smith, and Heather Cwayna. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where a memorial mass will be held at a later date.
