Melissa Marie (VanderMark) Essenyi

Melissa Marie VanderMark Essenyi, aged 41 of Wyoming, formerly of Holland, passed away peacefully at Metro U of M Hospital Wednesday, August 22, 2018.

Melissa was a loving mother and caring person. She was preceded in death by her father, Brent VanderMark and grandfather, Virgil Glass. She is survived by her daughter, Alesha Essenyi; son, Jayden VanderMark; mother, Mary Roon; brothers, Brett (Candie) VanderMark, Matthew (Anna) Roon; grandmother, Lois Glass; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; her significant other Jeffrey Smith and BFFs Megan Terry and Ramona Kiley.

Melissa worked for several years as a nurse at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.

Melissa’s funeral will take place Friday, August 31, 2018 at Wyoming Park Bible Fellowship, 2260 Porter St SW, Wyoming, MI 49519 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 1:00 – 3:00.
