Michael Leonard Van Maanen

Michael Leonard Van Maanen, 68, passed away on Sunday July 7, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on June 15, 1951, the son of Leo and Elizabeth Van Maanen. Mike is survived by his three siblings, six children, and nine grandchildren.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Isidore Catholic Church at 628 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

Mike’s family will remember his humor, his faith, and his spaghetti.
