Nathan Christopher Weimer

Nathan Christopher Weimer beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin and friend passed away Thursday April 26th, 2018.

Nathan was born on June 14, 1979 in Grand Rapids Michigan to Scott Barscewski and Cheryl Weimer.

As a child Nathan enjoyed hanging out with his cousins.  He liked to go camping and he loved swimming in Grandma Dee's pool.  He shared a special bond with his Grandma and Grandpa Weimer.

Nathan graduated from Newaygo High School and then headed off to attend Central Michigan University to pursue his dream of becoming a broadcaster. He graduated from Central with a degree in broadcasting.

Nathan loved the holidays and gathering with family to cook.  Nathan loved to cook and was famous for his cheesy potatoes. He loved cars, the faster the better.

Nathan was a funny, kind, loving young man with a contagious smile.  Nathan was a fan of the arts and volunteered at the Grand Rapids Public Museum and around his community.

Nathan you will forever be in our hearts and minds, we love you.  May you rest in peace. Nathan was an interesting soul and will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.

He leaves behind his father, Scott Barscewski, his mother Cheryl Weimer, his Grandmother Delores Barscewski, Grandmother Judy Weimer, Grandfather Miron Weimer, special friend Connie Morris and many cousins and extended family.
