Paul Arthur Hahka aged 73, born and raised in Negaunee, MI, graduated from Ferris State University and moved to Grand Rapids working as a licensed architect for many years at WBDC and Beta Design. After retiring Paul and Karen enjoyed touring all 50 states. Paul was preceded in death by his children Todd Hahka, Tammy Hahka, granddaughter Shelby Lynn, brother Richard, and special nephew Scott. He is survived by his loving wife Karen Hahka, sister in law Sharon Hahka and children Debbie Sanchez, Scott Hoogerhyde (Lynne), and Dana Johnson (Nick); grandchildren Anna, Amanda, Hannah (Peter), Tiara, Daniel, Leah, and Nicky, great grandchildren Jeremiah, Camden and Ledger. Memorial contributions are suggested to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 2 pm. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Memorial Alternatives.
