Adams – Richard J. Adams passed away on Monday, January 22. He was preceded in death by his two sons; Darrell and Neal.
Dick is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dolores; two daughters, Sabrina (Tom), Julie (Steve); seven grandchildren; three great-grandsons and brother Jim (Lynda).
Dick served in the Navy and Marines as a corpsman during the Korean War. He took great pride in his vegetable garden and that TV-13 chose to highlight his success in a news segment. In addition to being an avid gardener, he really enjoyed life outdoors. For many years he fished at Wabasis Lake where he probably caught more fish than any other angler. He also enjoyed deer and rabbit hunting with great success, providing plenty of wild game meals for his family.
Dick was a "fixer". If something was wrong, or broken he was always there to be sure that was corrected. That legacy is being carried on through his children and grandchildren for which the family is very grateful.
Dick’s family would like to express their appreciation for the care he received from Spectrum Health Hospice.
