Richard T. Karlek

Richard T. Karlek, aged 84 of Grand Rapids, MI passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019. He was preceded by his wife of 58 years, Margaret (Pallas) Karlek and beloved grandson Tyler Karlek.

Richard is survived by daughter Betty (Gary) Berggren, sons, Kirt A. Karlek, Kristopher L. Karlek; sister, Phyliss (Wally) Robinson; sister in law, Janet Lyons; grandchildren, Alyssa Karlek, Nathan Karlek; daughter in law, Debbie Karlek; very special friends, Curt and Laura Hoffman and George Sloss; many nieces and nephews.

Richard worked as a machinist until his retirement and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
