Richard L. Wellday Sr. aged 92 of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. He passed at Grand Rapids Home for Veterans where he had been a resident for several years. He is preceded in death by his wife Esther in 2003. He is survived by his children Richard Jr. (Don – husband – deceased 2016), Janice (Robert) Bourcki, his grandchildren Pastor Jennifer (Jason) Elston and his great grandchildren Hannah, Selah, and Ramiah. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and he’ll be joined with beloved wife soon. The family wants to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans who took such great care of Richard.
