Ruby Booker Obituary

Ruby Evelyn Booker, aged 92, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2019 at Spectrum Rehab Nursing Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ruby (Harris) Johnson; brothers, Richard and Keith; her sister, Opal; and daughter, Jessica. She will be missed by her daughter, Barbara (Stephen) Steakley; grandchildren, Monica Jones, Regine Lewis, Leslie Littles, Nicole Littles, and Sydney Smith; twelve great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Chris, Rodney, Marcus, Crystal, Lee ‘Monte’, Roderick, Johnathan, Ka’vare, Tariyah, Bryce, and Mya; one nephew, Henry ‘Butch’ (LaNita) Johnson and several great great grandchildren.

Friends may meet with the family for a visitation and sharing of memories on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm in the chapel at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 2894 Patterson Ave SE Grand Rapids, MI 49512
