Sue Ann (Hodge) Harvey

Sue Harvey, 77, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away October 14, 2019, after a brief illness at Spectrum Health Blodgett.

Sue was born September 9, 1942, in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Thomas and Bernadine (Donovan) Hodge. She married Gerald Nelson in 1960. They had one child, Angela. Sue married Fred Harvey in 1990. 

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Fred Harvey; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Tom Purkiss; grandchildren, Mason and Jill Purkiss; sisters, Linda (Glenn) Conrad; and Kathy (Joe) Lenhart; her beloved aunt, Sister Maureen Donovan; nieces and nephew, Tammy Gill, David Conrad, and Melissa Kovach. Sue was predeceased by her parents and her uncle, Bishop Paul Donovan, who was a father figure and strong influence throughout her life.

As per Sue’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
