Thomas Harry Gunter, aged 75 of Grand Rapids passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018, surrounded by family.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Delmer and Caroline (Shoultz) Gunter and brother Jessie Gunter. He is survived by his loving wife Sherry (Saunders) Gunter; children Barb (Ken) Dewey, Wendy Dreyer, Gordy (Erin) Gunter, Craig Gunter; four grandchildren April (David) VanHaitsma, Robert Wright, Lizzie Gunter, Kaitlin Gunter; 2 great-grandchildren Kaylin and Ross VanHaitsma; siblings Dale and Dick Gunter, Lucy (Tom) Kern; several nieces, nephews, cousins, many dear friends and special friend, their dog, Libby.

Tom held several jobs over the years and retired from his favorite position as custodian for the Forest Hills School District.

In his off time, Tom loved to spend his time fishing.

Per his wishes, there will be no services.
