Andrew John Kaplanowski

Andrew John Kaplanowski, age 61, of Comstock Park, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 24, 2021. Andrew is proceeded in death by his parents John and Charlene Kaplanowski. He is survived by his wife Deb of thirty years, her children, Ryan Smith (Nena Ward), Jessica Smith (Dave Lowery) and five beautiful grandchildren. Andrew is also survived by his sister in-law Denise Smith and brother in-law Dan Smith, many nieces and nephews, and many great friends.

Andy raced motocross for over 40 years and was a member of Laddies Sportsmans Club. Along, with a variety of other hobbies. There was never a dull moment when Andy was around. He will truly be missed by his family and those who were close to him. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 2 to 3pm with a visitation to follow at 3 till 5pm at St. Ladislaus Hall, 58 Lane Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
