Arlene Schooley

Arlene Schooley age 87 of Newaygo, Michigan passed away on January 23, 2022. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-one years Frank Schooley, her beloved son Frank Schooley Jr., and her great grandson Michael Schooley. Arlene is survived by her three daughters Susan (Steve) Horton, Debra Schooley and Mary Schooley, she is also survived by her four grandchildren and her six great grandchildren.

Arlene always enjoyed having her family around whether they came to visit with her or she came to visit with them. She was an avid reader and liked to knit afghans for her friends and family. Arlene also had a true love for animals, especially her black lab Sarge.

A visitation will be held on Thursday February 3, 2022 at Memorial Alternatives 2432 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids MI 49505 from 3pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Arlene’s honor to Above MS (www.abovems.com) or to your local humane society or animal shelter.
