Barbara Knappen Obituary

Barbara Jean Knappen, aged 73 of Greenville, Michigan passed away peacefully in her home Saturday, April 24, 2021. She was born on October 8^th, 1947 in Grand Rapids, daughter of Simon and Evelyn Haddad. She was preceded in death by her husband Steven, sister Kathy Watkins and brother Rick Haddad.

Barb lived her later years at her house on Woodbeck Lake. She loved having family and friends out to share the lake and enjoy each other’s company. She took many trips with Steve on their motorcycle all over the country. They amassed a wonderful collection of pictures of the various places they visited.

She is survived by her loving son Scott (Connie) Knappen, grandsons Andy & Aden, brother Mike, sister Shirley and many wonderful cousins, nieces, and nephews. And of course, her best friend Cooke Bakke.

A celebration of Barb's life will be held at her home- 13331 Lynn Dr NE Greenville, MI 48838 Saturday May 15th from 2pm to 6pm Friends and Family are invited to come. Food and refreshments will be available. Come enjoy the lake with us in commemoration of Barb's life.
