Betty Jean (Burns) McDonald

Betty J McDonald, age 91, of Wyoming, Michigan passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ron to whom she was married for 62 years; her grandson Kevin McDonald and her daughter-in-law, Carla McDonald. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Jace) George; sons, Tom (Shirley), Jim (Kathy), and Chris McDonald; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great—great-grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie Aylsworth and Helen (Darwin) House; several nieces and nephews.

Betty worked at Bissell and Dexter Lock until she retired. She enjoyed sitting in the sunshine on the deck playing cards and listening to music, usually country oldies. Betty was a very accomplished pianist playing for the church where she met her husband, Ron, who sang in the church choir. Family was everything to her. She had a large family and loved getting together and seeing everyone. She will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place. In honor of Betty contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
