Billie Henry Ellison

Billie Henry Ellison, aged 87, of Lowell, Michigan passed away, Saturday, July 27, 2019. He was preceded in death by, his parents, Grant and Edna (Simmons) Ellison; wife of over 50 years, Delores; son, Bill Ellison; and 2 sisters. He is survived by son, Dick (Gerri) Ellison, daughter, Debra (Todd) Lenneman; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert (Judy) Ellison, N.B. (Judy) Ellison; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Billie served in the Army during the Korean War assigned to the motor pool, which is how he got his start as a mechanic and a tow truck driver. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and spending time at the casino in his spare time. He even built his own house.

Billie was a great grandfather to his grandchildren always there to help out. When they needed him they just had to call.

There will be a Celebration of Life to honor Billie Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at 12155 McPherson Street NE, Lowell, MI 49331. Because Billie was an avid fan of his Detroit Tigers, please honor him by wearing your favorite Tiger gear.
