Brent C. Peterson

Brent C. Peterson age 83 of Cedar Springs, Michigan passed away peacefully on April 19, 2023. Brent is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Esther Peterson. He leaves behind his two sons Brent jr. (Mary Jo) Peterson, and Bryan Peterson. Brent also leaves behind his three grandchildren Ashley (Russ) Bruner, Riley Peterson, and Kaelyn Peterson, along with great grandson Luke Bruner.

Brent was born June 14, 1939 on Flag Day. He later went to graduate from Grand Rapids Union High School Class of 1957 and retired from Michigan Bell/ Ameritech after thirty-two years. Brent was a very social person who loved to be involved. Over the years Brent was a member and volunteer at the American Legion Post 287 in Cedar Springs, Michigan, and volunteered at the Veteran Administration, he was also heavily involved in the C.W.A (Communication Workers of America) local chapter #4034, and was a member of various groups/clubs on the Westside. Over the years Brent also enjoyed many other activities. He truly enjoyed being outside boating in the summer on Lake Michigan, deer hunting in the fall and winter and jetting off to Las Vegas whenever possible. Brent loved spending time with his family the most. Brent will truly be missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of Brent’s life will be held Friday July 21, 2023 at Kent Theater located at 8 North Main Street NE, Cedar Springs, Michigan 49319 at 10:30am.
