Corbin, born on July 5th, 1976 to his beloved parents Jeff and Beth (Ferrell) Stygstra of Grand Haven, Michigan, was unexpectedly called home on March 26th, 2024 doing what he loved, music.
His life was one filled with love, laughter, and a deep connection to his family. Graduating from Grand Haven High School, he went on to pursue his passion for computer programming, earning a bachelor’s degree from Baker College.
Beyond his academic achievements, Corbin was a man of many interests and talents. He had a profound love for music, enjoyed watching sports, and was an avid reader who never ever stopped learning. From cleaning products to computer parts, somehow, he always knew what he was talking about. Above all, his greatest joys came from spending time with his family.
Corbin’s passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Preceded in death by grandparents Jasper Jr. and Delores Stygstra, his grandfather William Ferrell and uncle Glen Stygstra. Survived by his parents, his brother Eric, and nieces Trinity and Lola Stygstra, his sister, Kelly Stygstra and niece and nephews Sydney Bruischart, Easton Epplett, and Linkin Stygstra, along with his grandmother Wanda Ferrell, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who will cherish his love forever.
A memorial Service to honor and celebrate Cobin’s life will be held at a later date. In his memory, may we always remember the joy he brought to those around him and the love he shared with his family. Corbin will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
