Cynthia A. Marz

Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Marz (Phillips) passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert “Bob” William Marz, owner of the former Marz Auto Body in Standale, Michigan, and her daughter Kathy Marz. Cynthia is survived by her son Robert “Bobby” Marz Jr. (Vonda Nester), sister Madelynne “Midge” St. John, and brother James “Jim” Phillips. She is also survived by her sister in-law Frances “Fran” Davis, brother in-law Phillip “Phill” Davis, brother in-law Christopher “Chris” Marz and grandson Dustin LaChance.

Cynthia was born to Floyd and Lucille (Walczewski) Phillips on July 25,1940. Cindy was a lover of cats, plants, and flowers of which she planted around her house. Over the years Cindy volunteered at Westside Apostolate Second Hand Store where she met many great friends. Later Cindy became a resident at Edison Christian Health Center where she was very well liked by both staff members and residents, for her upbeat and positive attitude. Cindy will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Per-Cindy’s wishes cremation has taken place and memorial service will be held at a later date.
