Dale L. Green

Dale Linus Green born March 10, 1943, passed away peacefully in his home on December 30 2025 at 7:05 pm with his daughter by his side and his adopted so Dan holding his hand, while thinking of fishing on sunset lake with his deceased son Dale with a smile on his face.

Dale served in the United States Army in air traffic control in Korea. Upon returning back Dale obtained his degree in mortuary science from Wayne State University. He worked as a funeral director and service embalmer for some time. Later Dale started his own chemical business with Herman Standhardt of Standhardt Chemical. Dale was proud to be able to provide all of his employees with paid housing and utilities along with their salary’s. Over the years Dale regularly gave to several charities that had great meaning to him.

Dale is survived by his sister Sharon, daughter Melody, adopted son Dan, and his grandson Dale III, He is preceded in death by his mother Anne, brothers Jim and Terry, sister Elaine, wife Colleen, and son Dale II.

Dale was a good man and will truly be missed by those who knew him.

A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at his farm on Memorial Day 2026.
