Darlene Backus Obituary

Darlene J. Backus age 85 of Wyoming, Michigan went home to her Lord and Savior on October 25, 2023. Darlene leaves behind her two children Charles Petoskey, Sandra Williams and her two granddaughters Kellie Beyer, Tara Williams, along with five great grand children and her nephew Greg Custer.

Darlene was a loving and caring soul, who truly enjoyed caring for people. She was a great cook and baker; Darlene made the best potato salad. Darlene loved elephants and had a large collection of figurines. Over the years she tended a beautiful flower and vegetable garden and enjoyed watching the birds. Darlene loved to spend time with family and friends, playing bingo, cribbage, and putting puzzles together.

Darlene will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Per- Darlene’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
