David Czarnopys

David Lee Czarnopys passed away March 5, 2025; Gone but not forgotten.

David leaves behind his wife of almost 63 years, daughter Amy Lyon, Grandchildren Megan Lyon VanderHeide (Curt), Joshua Lyon (Morgan) and Katelyn Lyon along with Great Grandchildren Addiline, Aurora, Loki, Johnathon and Michael.  David also leaves behind son Adam (Molly) Czarnopys and Grandchildren Alex and Ben.  Passing before David were his parents John Paul Sr and Mother Verla Mae Bishop Czarnopys; Brothers John Jr, Raymond and Sisters Francis, Barbara and Geraldine.  Surviving is his sister Patricia Vander Ploeg and many Nieces and Nephews.  David had a lifelong love of travel even serving in the Navy for three years.  He had trips to England, Germany and Poland as well as traveling the United States.  David was a furniture Salesman for forty years and after retirement, he volunteered for Hospice, Meijer Gardens, Versiti Blood Center, and his favorite place The Meyer May House.  He loved being a Docent and gave wonderful tours.  David was a fun loving guy who will be missed by many who knew him.  The family will have a private service honoring David’s wishes, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
