Deborah Sue (Bailey) Leaf

Deborah Sue (Bailey) Leaf, 52 of Hudsonville/Jenison fought bravely nearly 5 years with lung cancer.  She passed away fighting bravely until the end surrounded by those she loved on October 4, 2019 at her parent's home.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leaf Jr.

She will be missed by her 2 grandchildren that she raised, LJ & Stevie;  Her parents Russ and Sandy Bailey; sister and brother-n-law, Dawn and Scott (Ike) Eisen; nieces and nephews; two sons, Lazer, Lucas     ( Betsy and Deb's grandchildren-Addyson, Kallan,  Hadley, Jacen, and Tobias); sister Chris (Randy) DeJongh; Her very special friend, Lynn Wolf Hopkins; Her other mom, Mary Burgess; Many other good friends.  Special thank you to the staff of Kindred Hospice:  Kathy, Cate, Lisa and Tara.  Debbie also wished to thank The Jenison Pink Out Community and Bauerwood School Staff and Principal, Crystal.  We'd like to thank Lynn for her care, love and an especially long friendship with Deb. Thank you to Bailey and Allison for their special care and support of their Aunt Debbie.

Per her request she has been cremated.
